Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE) Careers Transitions Event

De Montfort University is delighted to be hosting a one-day transitions event aimed at helping to prepare students for the world of work.


De Montfort University is a proud member of the Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE-UK), an organisation that promotes higher achievements in education and engineering particularly among people from black and minority ethnicity (BME) backgrounds.

The day will feature talks from experts at AFBE-UK and alumni, mock interviews, and group work/case study exercises. Refreshments will be served throughout the day and faculty academics will be on hand to support.

Breakfast and registration will be at 10:30. Lunch and dinner will be provided.

Prize for the best student and best group work will also be award at the end of the event.
