Black History Month – Saluting our Sisters: Celebrating Black Women in STEAM

Wednesday 25th October, 2pm to 3pm (Online)

To celebrate this year’s Black History Month theme ‘Saluting our sisters’, the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media will be holding an online panel discussion which will explore the experiences of black women in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics).

The panel will recognise the achievements of black women and how more progress needs to be made in these subject areas where there is underrepresentation. The panel will include DMU staff, students and alumni and is open to all to join the event.
